The beautiful Hibiscus flower tastes very similar to cranberry juice when served unsweetened. When sweetened it tastes like fruit punch.
This is one of my favorite beverages on a hot day. It is inexpensive, quick to make and a much healthier alternative to most soft drinks.

How to make Jamaica:
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, remove from heat
- Add 2 cups of hibiscus flowers to the water, let steep for an hour
- Strain the liquid, pour into a one gallon pitcher. Press on the hibiscus flowers firmly to release all of the flavor
- Top off the pitcher with cold water
- Add sweetness to taste.
